Grilled Solicitors

We were recently asked to provide (rather urgently), secure window grills for
a solicitors offices in Halifax, as they had been broken into three times in as many days.

Clicking on the pictures below will produce a larger image for closer inspection of quality.

A beautiful old stone building in the centre of the town presented the challenge to provide security for eight ground floor windows of various shapes and sizes, whilst not detracting from the original structural beauty. The windows were at the back of the property, but were in such a position as to been seen by local visitors to the nearby shopping centre and clients of the public house directly opposite.

Each grill was made using:
40mm x 8mm flat bar - 16mm diameter round bar.
Two coats of red oxide primer and two coats of eggshell finish black top coat.
Chemical anchor resin used to fix the bolts into the stone lintels as expansion bolts have a tendency to split stone.
Bolts welded in for extra security.

The whole order was made, painted and fitted within one week and they were very pleased with the finished effect. cock Design (c) Doodledoo
